Action has been providing exceptional medial care to Massachusetts residents since 1977. Our training center is a fully accredited training facility with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s Office of Emergency Medical Services (OEMS.) Our instructors still work in the field, with decades of experience. With that experience, & updates on current practice, our staff brings a dynamic setting to the class-room. At Action our staff will work with you to lay the foundation for an exciting career in EMS.

  • This is a “traditional” EMT course, with sessions every Tuesday and Thursday evening (6pm-10pm 1st class SEPTEMBER 6th, 2022) and every other Saturday (8am-430pm, 1st session SEPTEMBER 17th, 2022) You May Qualify for FULL Tuition Reimbursement!

cost breakdown

$150.00 test site fee paid to our training institution. This is paid to the State through Action Ambulance to cover the cost of the NREMT Practical Exam & the examiners.

NREMT written test fee of $80.00. This fee will be paid to Pearson VUE Testing, as they are the testing vendor contracted by the Commonwealth of MA. The student sets up this appointment with Pearson VUE for this testing following course completion. Action Ambulance is required to verify your eligibility for this exam.

Upon passing both the NREMT written and the MA state practical exams you will be eligible to apply for MA licensure. The cost of licensure is $150.00 paid to the Commonwealth of MA and it is valid for a term of 2 years. Your license as an EMT will need to be renewed every 2 years and the cost is $150.00 per renewal period.

EMT textbook cost is $400 and comes with online instructional access. This cost is due before starting the course.

EMT Coruse cost is $800 and is due the first night of class.
